Review: Almay, 'wake up' hydrating powder

My first review will be on this Almay 'wake up' hydrating powder. It's funny how I came across this product, 'cause I pretty much took it from my mom. I went to visit her and I forgot my setting powder at home, so I gave this a try.
Overall: The quality of this product is just right. Not too chalky, and not too moist. It does have hints of shimmer, which at first I was skeptical on, but when I looked in the mirror, lord and behold, I looked a lot more awake! It has pretty good coverage on it's own, for my type of skin, but I defiantly like to use a tinted moisturizer under this powder. I did not really feel a cooling effect, as most say they do, but that does not bother me at all.
Packaging: I'm not a fan of loose powder but this one is not bad at all. It comes with a brush on the top which makes it easier to not get the powder all over the vanity. I've heard some people complain about the brush, but honestly, you just need to pull it out by the bristles to make it click and stay.
Versatility: Good product for all year around, 'cause it's not overly shimmery to the point where you look like a twilight vampire. Perfect glow, in my opinion.
Pro: Not greasy, goes on smoothly, looks natural, affordable, nice glow, awakes your face, light coverage.
Cons: Not many shades to choose from, it's loose powder so it can be messy when closing the lid, not flattering on skin with acne since it enhances problem areas (however, applying concealer over problem areas before hand will make it work).
Rating: 5/5! I will be purchasing this again. I am in the shade 40, which seemed a bit too high but it looks nice. I have fairly fair skin, and the shade matched perfect.

Go ahead and give this a try! You wont be disappointed. :)
